The community of Agia Anna will construct a Monument honouring its missing child, Andreas Theodorou.

Andreas Theodorou come from Agia Anna and has been missing since the 15th of August 1974. His father Georgios Theodorou took part in the 1955-59 Liberation Struggle.

During the tragic summer of 1974 Andreas Theodorou was serving the army. He was only 19 years old. According to testimonies of his family, as mentioned by Kostas Papageorgiou, “he was seen for the last time by a person from Agia Anna in Palaikythro”. Unfortunately, they have not heard from him since.

The willpower and determination for learning what happened to our fellow-villager remain undimmed.
